Dearest gentle bodies,
I was aiming to have a pride themed essay out to you today—ideally, while it’s still pride month. But, you know what? Things take the time they take. It’s too hot to think where I am. And every month is pride month.
So, I un-paywalled many a post for you today. Hooray!
I have a request in the meantime. Every week, there are links to share these essays with a friend. When I read and love a Substack newsletter, my eyes start completely glazing over those little buttons.
My ask today is, if you love one of these essays, would you please send them to a pal who might also love it? Not because more is better, not because I think I’m the only one writing good words on the internet, but because the deeper and broader our community becomes, the better our conversations will be.
ANYWAY. Here are some recent essays for your reading pleasure:
And here are some recent lists, including the perennially useful hospice shopping list which will be paywalled over my dead body (…sorry.)
In my mind, each of you who shares and reads and listens gets unlimited popsicles.
All my love,
Liddy
PS: Each of you also gets a basket full of the only beings in the world designed for this weather:
